The tide is getting higher, Santa's just right down the shore...
The water's fine, the sun is bright, the air is crisp and clean.
My cooler's filled with Christmas cheer - got presents and a tree.
The dogs, their tails are waggin' 'cause they know who'll soon be here.
And all those crazy seagulls love the crackers and my beer!

Now, let's make a frosty sandman and we'll cover him with oil.
He'll get a tan in no time and then wash away by morn.
My silver tree is gleaming from the sun against the shore
And that sand between my toes is so much warmer than the snow...

At night I'd watch for snow outside my window all alone.
I'd listen for the reindeer on my roof on Christmas eve,
Those memories were so fond but now I'm dreaming of palm trees...
